Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your purchase and use of Swatch Mill software. By purchasing or installing Swatch Mill, you agree to these terms.

License Grant

Upon purchase, Swatch Mill grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable (except as described below) license to install and use the software on the number of machines specified by your license tier.

  • Personal License: One (1) machine. For personal and freelance use only.
  • Commercial License: One (1) machine, transferable to one additional machine. Authorized for commercial and client project use.
  • Team License: As specified in your team agreement.

Permitted Use

You may use Swatch Mill to create swatch libraries for any project permitted by your license tier. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software or your license key.

Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Share your license key or allow others to use your single-seat license
  • Use a Personal license for commercial client work
  • Redistribute or resell the software

Updates

Your license includes free updates for one year from the date of purchase. After that period, major version updates may require a paid upgrade at a discounted rate for existing customers. Minor bug-fix releases are free indefinitely.

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy. If Swatch Mill does not work as described on a supported version of Adobe Illustrator, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. Refunds are not available after 14 days or if the software has been used for production work.

Warranty Disclaimer

Swatch Mill is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. Your use of the software is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swatch Mill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
